I am an Assistant Professor in Sport Administration and Hyde Family Foundation Fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I previously held faculty positions at the University of Cincinnati, Texas A&M University, and University of Louisville. My scholarly endeavors are shaped by my passions and hobbies, professional background in intercollegiate athletics, and deep love and respect for our natural environment.

Clydesdale “Clyde” Murfree has been the co-captain of this research team for over 9 years when he was rescued in North Carolina. Clyde has been a member of every research project and Zoom meeting, and he is quite influential in some of the decision-making processes. He’s mostly just happy to be here! We want a better planet for all the Clydes of the world!
